The 2 days of SAVE Web Edition, the vertical event for solutions and applications of instrumentation, automation and sensors, which this year has transformed its usual spring appointment into a special online edition, has just ended, providing new ways of interaction between operators.
Covid-19: reinterpreting a exhibition
Due to the health emergency caused by Covid-19 EIOM, the fair organization, has successfully been able to re-interpret the format of the B2B exhibition on a digital platform, creating opportunities for networking and technical insights with high quality contents.
On the 2nd and 3rd of July, several online meetings included webinars, conferences, interviews with key players, videos and much more were focused on four main themes: that of Industrial automation, artificial intelligence and 4.0 solutions for the industry of the future, of Control, remote control and supervision systems, of Measuring instruments, big data, software, IoT up to Cybersecurity for Industry.
The interventions of Fandis at SAVE Web Edition
In this context, Fandis participated as sponsor of the event by offering its contribution with a workshop on Revamping and Edge Thermal Management and a speech on a case history of the IIoT Sensis device, Predictive maintenance in power factor correction systems. Two interventions aimed at presenting how Fandis has been able to transform the climate control on machine according to the Industry 4.0 paradigm.
In fact, through the IIoT Sensis device, the machine designer has a tool capable of interacting remotely, both during installation and development, and along the entire life cycle.
At the same time, the maintainer accesses the “warning” signals useful for predicting the events, minimizing the risk of downtime.
The compactness, the simplicity of installation and the independence from the PLC of governing the process carried out by the machine favor the integration of Sensis both on new projects and in the revamping of existing machines.
Looking forward to seeing you in person at the next edition of SAVE, we are happy to have made our contribution in this new online role and we thank all those who participated in the workshops!
