What are the most common problems for electrical panels?
As we have already said here, the main factors that limit operations or service life of components located inside an electrical panel are changes in temperature or humidity. The devices installed in an electrical panel, of command or control, in fact, need to be maintained within a specific range of temperature or humidity, favorable to their operation.
What happens in outdoor electrical panels?
The main problem of indoor electrical panels is overheating, due to operation of its components. But often, however, enclosures installed outdoors require a greater protection, because they are also exposed to the natural elements, extreme changes in temperature from hot to cold throughout the year, and an aesthetic component deterioration too.
What do outdoor enclusures require?
Above all, the first step is to equip them with a system that ensures a natural or forced ventilation, to keep the temperature constant. For this reason, Fandis has developed an entire range of FF series fan filters and filters that can ensure high standards of quality, even in critical conditions.
UL Type 3R approval
Type 3R is a certification drawn up and released by the American Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL), which identifies the products used in extreme conditions, exposed to weather and that require high degrees of IP protection.
Plastic with strong fiberglass charge
Often, using of outdoor products with ABS or PC / ABS plastics, suitable for indoor applications, a premature color change occurs, that in the case of light gray changes to green / yellow, and a weakening of the plastic parts that tend easy to break and sometimes almost to disintegration. The range is apparently equal to that from the products identified with the IP54 and IP55 of normal production, but to increase the degree of resistance to atmospheric agents such as rain, low and high temperatures and premature aging from UV rays, Fandis uses high strength plastic with a strong charge of glass fiber.
Operation and aesthetics insured
The new range of FF series with fan filters and filters are therefore suitable to preserve the integrity of components inside an electrical panel for outdoor use, and ensure a greater resistance to the external aesthetic deterioration.
