While energy efficiency has become the primary challenge in the industrial sector, digital evolution and the increasing use of electronic equipment have made heat dissipation crucial to ensure the proper functioning of production processes.
Technological progress and heat dissipation
The constant pursuit of greater speed in receiving and transmitting data, as well as their processing, such as the need to generate, store, and when necessary, deliver forms of “clean” and/or renewable energy, are some examples of applications on which the industrial and civil worlds are focusing more and more. This technological development, combined with continuous improvement processes, can, however, bring with it negative aspects or complexities to manage, including avoiding overheating and ensuring the proper functioning of equipment.
Strategies for heat dissipation
An example of this is the increase in heat production from electronic components installed in electrical panels, which must be carefully dissipated to maintain a constant temperature inside the electrical panel. This can be achieved through the application of different strategies:
- Forced ventilation, using products such as fan filter units or roof exhaust units;
- Air cooling, using products such as cooling units, air-to-air systems, or chilled water systems;
- Monitoring and automation: through sensors and automated management systems to constantly detect temperature and efficiently adjust cooling systems.
Heat dissipation and energy consumption
However, it is not enough to focus solely on the performance and cooling capacity of the individual system to be used. It is necessary to raise awareness among all stakeholders, from the manufacturer to the end user, to increase attention to the issue of energy saving.
Fandis has sought to respond to this need by combining proper temperature and humidity management with energy efficiency in all the various applications where our products are used.
Fandis innovations at SPS Parma
To address this market dynamism and achieve the goal of dissipating heat more efficiently than is possible with current products, Fandis will showcase some innovations at the SPS Italia exhibition in Parma, Italy (May 28-30, 2024) Hall 05 Stand I019, which we are excited to show to the public!
By using these new products, which offer superior airflow performance, it will be possible to operate under working conditions that were previously unattainable. But that’s not all, as it will also be possible to do so in a more environmentally friendly manner.
We look forward to seeing you at SPS Italia!
