Fandis FF series filter fans are an effective and economical solution to prevent the formation of hot air pockets inside the electrical panel.
More and more often, in fact, the causes of malfunctions or breakdowns in electrical and electronic equipment inside the control panels and on the machine are due to thermal problems. Specifically, the temperature and humidity conditions inside the enclosure affect the lifespan of the components and their operation, and these can only be controlled through correct ventilation of the enclosure, both naturally and forced.
But what are the advantages of installing the Fandis FF series filter fans inside the electrical panel?
Choice
The wide variety of models proposed in the Virdis range by Fandis satisfies the various cooling needs, from exhaust filters only to forced ventilation systems for greater heat dissipation in the electrical panel. Available in 5 different sizes, the FF line is oriented towards ease of use and maximum safety for the installer, the result of careful internal design.
Furthermore, contrary to other solutions on the market, Fandis has privileged the truthfulness of the declared performances by distinguishing the versions with standard flow from those with “reverse” flow in different models, offering a vast variety of catalog codes.
Installation
The FF series allows practical assembly without tools thanks to a clip locking system and easy replacement of the cloth, using a sliding opening system.
Design
The particular shape of the finned lid helps protect against water splashes and gives the product a nice design. In addition, it is possible to customize, on request, the brand plate with your own brand.
Filtration
The FF series uses high-prevalence filter cloths in polyolefin fibers, resistant to the chemical action of solvents, acids and alkaline solutions. Depending on the models, ISO Coarse 30%/G2, ISO Coarse 55%/G3 and ISO Coarse 70%/G4 filtration classes are ensured, which is important to consider according to the type of application and work environment. The filter cloths can be cleaned up to 10 times by washing, blowing or beating while preserving their shape and filtering properties.
IP protection
The FF filter fans include variants with IP54 degree of protection for a low risk of water infiltration and possible outflow, the IP55 version for applications in aggressive environments where dust, humidity and other impurities are present. The UL Type 3R version makes this line particularly suitable for outdoor applications where high resistance to bad weather (rain, sleet and ice), temperature variations and premature aging from UV rays is required. It is also possible to add a stainless steel hood to the filter fans to increase the degree of protection from dust and external agents, bringing it to IP56. The quality of this solution is Type 4X certified and guarantees an optimal seal against corrosion phenomena.
Energy efficiency
The FF filter fan units can be coupled to thermostats or electronic climatic controls (Sensis) and come into operation only when necessary, ensuring energy savings. Furthermore, some models on request can be made with an EC fan to optimize the energy consumption necessary to preserve the ideal thermal conditions inside the electrical panel.
Technical support
Our laboratory performs characterization and performance tests, environmental tests in climatic chambers and water resistance tests. Technical support also takes the form of product customization requests and guides the customer in choosing the most suitable solution for solving specific problems.
Certifications
The FF filter fan range is approved according to European and international market standards, which certify the compliance of electrical and electronic items with safety requirements. In particular, they comply with CSA and UL (Listed and Recognized) standards for export to Canada and the United States respectively.
Production
The FF filter fans are molded with injection presses and assembled internally with manual and automated processes, to then undergo functional checks at the end of the line.
In addition to the standard RAL 7035, the product is also available in a series of other colors, upon request and for quantities.
