How are companies from the Piedmont region transforming? This is the question from the Digital Innovation Hub of Piedmont, organizing Piemonte goes Digital a real roadshow to present the technological transformations of the companies of the Region and, above all, support them in their path of progressive digitization.
What is the Digital Innovation Hub?
DIH Piemonte and Valle d’Aosta was born in 2017 to promote and support the digital transformation of local businesses, thanks to the aggregation of different services from research and development. The DIH has become the intermediary between the Competence Centers of universities and research institutes, where new technological solutions arise, and small and medium-sized enterprises, offering collaboration paths to local companies and accompanying them in the digital transformation process.
“Digital technologies are able to increase companies’ efficiency, improving flexibility and the ability to respond to product customization needs, as well as achieving better integration between goods and services. Digital transformation is not just digital technology. All the value creators are impacted by the digital revolution, which is also changing the way of thinking about business. “- by dih.piemonte.it
Piemonte goes Digital in Fandis
Thanks again to the collaboration between DIH Piemonte and Confindustria, we hosted the stopover in the Novara Vercelli Valsesia area of this roadshow, where our CEO Silvano Zilioli recounted Fandis’ experience in facing the path in the field of lean management, Industry 4.0 and digital transformation, together with Massimiliano Cipolletta and Vittorio Illengo, respectively President and Director of DIH Piedmont, together with Fabrizio Manca and Olivetta Federici, responsible for the DIH Novara service.
In fact, in Fandis we were among the first to recognize that digital technologies are able to increase the efficiency of production models and improve flexibility and the ability to respond to customer needs, greatly accelerating the evolution also in the sectors more traditional industrial, like that of electrical enclosures.
