The October edition of SAVE Web Edition, the online event for instrumentation, automation and sensor solutions and applications, has come to an end. This year, in fact, SAVE transformed its trade fair appointment into a new online version, with an appointment held in July and one in October.
EIOM, the organizing founded in 1965 and a pioneer of the flexible model of vertical conference exhibitions for 15 years, believes that the adoption of digital is the main tool for increasing productivity and, in this difficult period, also becomes a solution, strategic to face the challenges of the future and the economic recovery.
The new Save Web Edition aims to understand this transformation, to expand and propose new ways of interaction in a single digital space where you can update yourself, access conferences, seminars, round tables, videos and valuable technical content without losing the spirit of a “live” exhibition.
Fandis at SAVE Web Edition October
Also in this second appointment of 2020, Fandis offered its contribution with a speech on Control Cabinet Ventilation and Energy Saving in which the benefits deriving from the use of the new roof exhaust unit powered by direct current were discussed, in terms of safety, efficiency and scalability of the useful power. Following this, Fandis was also present with a webinar on Predictive maintenance in power factor correction systems: electricity distribution systems require a very high degree of reliability and are often installed in areas that are not easily accessible. A trivial malfunction of Thermal Management due to accidental events or pollution of the filters, in fact, can cause damage to the service and reduce its profitability. This webinar also presented a concrete case of data acquisition, aggregation and alarms in a complex load power factor correction system.
Our impressions of the SAVE Web Edition
At the second edition, we considered that, although the event in presence facilitates relationships and interactions, the web solution has in fact multiplied the listeners for each speaker and better focused the efforts of the speakers on the contents.
The result is an almost surprising market scenario for the speed with which digitalization has reached levels of concreteness in industrial applications in all its forms and in particular for augmented reality, simulation and predictive maintenance.
For this, we look forward to “seeing you” at the next edition of SAVE Web Edition, happy to have given our contribution and thanking all those who attended our meetings!
