From May 26 to 28, 2026, at SPS Italia, Fandis will present a new generation of solutions for electrical enclosure thermal management, designed to meet the increasingly advanced requirements of industrial automation.
Today, energy efficiency, operational continuity, and consumption optimization are no longer optional features, but essential requirements in system design. Thermal management therefore becomes a strategic factor for improving reliability, component lifespan, and the overall sustainability of industrial systems.
The innovations we will present at SPS Italia were developed with this exact goal: transforming ventilation and temperature control from passive functions into intelligent systems capable of dynamically adapting to the real operating conditions of the electrical enclosure.
From ON/OFF ventilation to intelligent control
One of the main innovations showcased at the exhibition will be the new smart temperature controller, developed to overcome the traditional ON/OFF logic of industrial ventilation systems.
Thanks to PID regulation, the system continuously controls the speed of fans installed on filter fans or roof exhaust units, adapting airflow to the actual thermal conditions inside the electrical enclosure.
This approach makes it possible to:
- reduce energy consumption;
- limit thermal and mechanical stress on components;
- decrease noise and wear;
- improve the thermal stability of the entire system.
Ventilation no longer operates permanently at maximum speed, but is continuously modulated according to the actual cooling demand.
EC fans: higher efficiency and dynamic control
Supporting this new control logic, Fandis will also present its range of high-efficiency EC fans.
As already demonstrated last year, thanks to Electronically Commutated technology, these fans provide higher efficiency compared to traditional AC motors, especially in continuous-operation applications.
The main advantages include:
- significant reduction in energy consumption;
- integrated speed control;
- more precise thermal load management;
- improved long-term reliability.
Integration with high-flow roof exhaust units also maximizes ventilation efficiency in large electrical enclosures and demanding industrial applications.
EC fans will also be available in ATEX versions, ideal for critical industrial environments or applications requiring enhanced safety, with protection ratings up to IP68.
New anti-condensation heaters: compact, powerful, and easy to install
The thermal stability of an electrical enclosure does not depend only on cooling. Humidity and condensation control are also essential factors in ensuring reliability and operational continuity.
For this reason, at SPS Italia we will also present the new generation of anti-condensation heaters, designed to combine:
- high heating performance;
- compact design;
- simplified installation;
- maximum application flexibility.
The new plug-in connector and optimized wiring allow fast and intuitive installation, while ventilated versions up to 70°C and the universal 110–240V voltage range make these devices suitable for a wide variety of industrial applications.
An integrated ecosystem for thermal management
The new Fandis solutions have been designed to work together seamlessly and simplify integration within industrial systems.
The goal is not simply to cool an electrical enclosure, but to build an intelligent, efficient, and adaptive thermal management system capable of optimizing energy consumption, improving component reliability, and reducing operating costs.
